Free University of Bozen
The Free University of Bolzano was founded in 1997 with an international and multilingual vocation (German, Italian, English and Ladin). Unibz has five faculties with a high percentage of teachers (35%) and students (17%) from abroad who study, teach and do research in the fields of economics, natural science, engineering, social sciences, education, design and arts. 4,100 students are enrolled in more than 30 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The training offer and research projects are connected to international and interregional networks – for example, within the Euregio, with the Universities of Innsbruck and Trento – and are oriented towards high quality standards.

Carinthia University of Applied Sciences
The primary objective pursued within the Active and Assisted Living research unit of the University of Applied Science in Carinthia is to positively influence the quality of life, in particular for the elderly, through demand-driven technical developments focused on: (i) Smart Home, (ii) Smart Health and remote control, (iii) Smart Interaction. The basis for CUAS R&D activities is the Living Lab approach, which combines methods, processes, infrastructures and partnerships for the realization of cooperative and applied research with relevant actors in the context of Active and Assisted Living (AAL).

University of Trieste
The Department of Engineering and Architecture (DIA) of the University of Trieste is a community of people with different roles and skills who work in synergy to spread skills, experimental techniques, ideas and projects in order to contribute to the transformations of our time. Through its educational offer, it prepares students to become the future; thanks to its quality of research, it produces scientific knowledge to be transferred to the labor market and to civil society using new ideas made available to actors operating in the sectors of government and planning of cities and territories, industry, business and cultural investments.

Eureka System
Eureka System offers assessment, analysis, system design, software development and hardware supply services to automate, manage and innovate the production processes and mechatronic systems of the manufacturing industry and to carry out special projects.
